Project Highlights
Architects frequently ask Pigeon Busters for help to develop a solution at the planning stage to save potential costs in the long run and to better integrate bird control systems in an architectural design.
This beautiful artwork was designed by Paul Raff architect for the developing area of the Underpass Park in Toronto. The artwork is suspended on the underside of the highway ramp. At the design stage Pigeon Busters was called in to provide a solution that does not interfere with the artwork – hard to see and does not affect the integrity – no drilling, screwing directly into the artwork and no attachments of any kind to the underside of the highway bridge – the City sometimes is very tough in these matters.
A Bird Wire solution was implemented as the client was very concerned about visibility. The Bird Wire system was installed at strategic locations using glue-on support bases to eliminate drilling or screwing in the artwork.
The finished work is very hard to notice and a good compromise in the case of hard-to-deal-with artworks.
